DailyDress is the first app presenting entirely individualized outfit suggestions based on the current weather, different occasions and the users’ own wardrobe. In addition, DailyDress assists with shopping new clothes matching old ones and simplifies the communication about outfits with friends.
In order to synchronize existing clothes, users simply tag encountered items as owned if they resemble their own clothes. The items are standardized product images provided by partner online stores linked with relevant product information. DailyDress analyzes these data to individualize outfits and purchase suggestions for the users. During market entry, the business model focuses on affiliate marketing, i.e. a successful sale in the partner online store generates an average commission of 9% of the shopping cart value. Partnershops include Zalando, Asos, Otto, AboutYou and many more. The app will be released in germany in November 2016.
