Problem: The old guard of early-stage investors are sailing off into the sunset. The market for starting a company has changed significantly in the last decade. It’s time for a new generation of investors to roll up their sleeves and help the next generation of entrepreneurs. Founders are looking for seasoned operators now, not archaic Sand Hill brands.

We are building a launchpad for the next generation of entrepreneurs. We help founders discover product-market fit, nail storytelling and communication, train them in the art of fundraising, and provide direct access to a deep network of vetted co-investors and accelerators. We’re a coach, mentor, and evangelizer.

Track Record - 2.8x multiple, 117% unrealized IRR since 2018
I have personally invested in dozens of early-stage companies, we have a unicorn in the portfolio, a “soonicron”, have returned capital at 3.25x multiple thus far, and have a 2.8x MOIC unrealized on existing investments and 117% unrealized IRR. We already have a top quartile hit rate of unicorns per invested deal.

About Me: Jon is an early-stage investor and mentor focusing on pre-seed and seed. He was previously the co-founder and CEO of Starcity, a global coliving company with locations on multiple continents, hundreds of employees and raised over $75M in venture capital. The company was backed by top-tier venture capitalists including Bullpen Capital, Deciens, NEA, Social Capital, and Y Combinator. We were featured in Forbes, WSJ, Bloomberg and created an entirely new category of housing. Starcity was taken over by Common in 2021 after narrowly escaping the global pandemic of 2020. He was in the YC Core batch in the Summer of 2016 and the YC Growth batch in the Winter of 2019.
