Cubic structures contain energy harvesting devices. The top cube would always be solar, followed by as many wind turbines as the structure can support those will have flexible solar panels glued to them to maximize efficiency. The cube closest to the ground or at sea level would have a heat pump (if geothermal available) and all the sensitive components.
At sea level a new technology called flexWEC will produce electricity on top floating and being not aggressive towards marine life, flexwecs can be stacked until the seafloor. Batteries can be stacked at the ground level, however, due to their cost should be skipped. To keep the center of mass of the whole structure at the desired location, counterweights can be batteries or boxes filled with spare parts and tools for maintenance.
The structure can grow in all directions of space.
All the devices would be connected to an app for payments and bitcoin mining in case the user has a mining rig.

EnergyAPP will allow you to decide how much energy you will be dedicating to mine Bitcoin, how much you will store in your batteries and how much you will sell to the grid.
The most user friendly way possible: one single screen and two sliders for the main screen.
EnergyAPP will offer you the option to donate so that other less lucky individuals can enjoy renewable energy. There will be a leaderboard for users and other for corporations to spread some good vibe competition.
