Da-mas.org enables teachers to fund projects in their classrooms via a dedicated crowdfunding platform, starting in México in 2018. One of the most important aspects of our platform is our emphasis on trust and - in order to win this trust - the verification of teachers, schools and projects on the platform. What this means is that we ensure only active teachers post projects, on project funding we only deliver materials to verified school addresses, and post material delivery we verify projects have actually happened. There is a lot of room for growth in Da-Mas.org, both in terms of expanding the scale of our implementation within Mexico, expansion to other countries (via the Teach for All network), implementation of the technology in other industries (ie. the funding of resources for medical clinics), and the development of auxiliary services (ie. open data platforms around educational data).
