Croftery careers

Croftery is a platform for homemade, government-certified, foods. We host, mostly women-owned, home food businesses that make small-batch, fresh, and unique foods (often hard to find commercially). We also support aspiring home food makers by making it easier to get a Cottage Food Permit (a state-issued permit that allows individuals to legally sell non-perishable food). We also host events showcasing sellers to the broader community (bake-alongs, in-person stalls). Croftery receives a 10% commission from each sale.

The Opportunity
- Currently, Croftery operates in a few counties in near Seattle, WA, but can easily expand to all states in the US based on the cottage food laws. The cottage food industry is worth an estimated $20 billion.
- According to a US-wide Pollfish survey, 82% of individuals are interested in trying out Croftery
- According to a US-wide Pollfish survey, 78% of individuals that are interested in baking would sell on Croftery

Present Status
We have onboarded 5 sellers and are onboarding more. We have products from India, Hawaii, Netherlands, South America, etc. We will be hosting in-person Croftery-markets and online events over the next few months.
