Cramster is now the Online Study section the publicly traded and college student powerhouse Chegg. We pioneered online studying by creating study guides and step by step solutions manuals to accompany textbooks of quantitative subjects. We started with a meager budget of several hundreds of dollars for marketing and content but organically built the company into a profitable powerhouse before we looked for external funding. When Cramster sold, it was a leader in its field and has become a very successful acquisition for Chegg which is now the largest study community on the web.
