• Perform tasks on projects requiring a broad and deep knowledge in the field of structural engineering, bridge engineering or marine infrastructure
• Perform structural analysis and design including, but not limited to, reinforced and pre-stressed concrete design, steel design and timber design, deep foundations, gravity-based foundations, earth retaining structures, etc.

• Develop and lead the strategy to develop COWI’s roadway/highway design capabilities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to support growth of the roadway and transportation services within Canada.

• Perform structural analysis, design, and evaluation and be responsible for the preparation of calculations, drawings, work plans, schedules, and budgets
• Liaise with the Contractor on site, identify construction and erection issues and scope gaps, and coordinate engineering inputs from COWI.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to the Alberta team (recruitment, performance reviews, managing performance), creating a culture of growth and collaboration.

• Lead teams of engineers and technicians producing drawings and calculations along with supervising, coordinating, and reviewing the work of other engineers
• Prepare work plans, schedules, and budgets
