Cortex is a rapidly growing technology startup in the Commercial Real Estate space. We provide software that enables building operators, including the team at the Empire State Building, to run their buildings with significantly more precision. This creates substantial financial savings, while also having a significant environmental sustainability impact. We do this by providing an application layer on top of highly underutilized data sources (Building Management Systems, utility meters, etc.). Our product makes sense of thousands of data points, makes that information available anywhere through our mobile app, and uses Machine Learning to provide proactive recommendations for decisions that building operators have to make on a daily basis.
