Coord careers

Coord is an Alphabet-backed startup helping cities manage their curb space. Cities often don't even have a digital record of how they have allocated the curb lane -- where drivers can park, when restrictions are in place, or even where bus stops and fire hydrants are located. Many manage their curb much the same way they did decades ago - using signs and paint. But now, cities are beginning to realize how important this space can be, and are starting to use new tools to help them unlock its potential.

We're building the digital infrastructure that enables cities to inventory, allocate, price, and operate their curbs. This way, they can make it easier for people and goods to get where they're going while making streets safer and more equitable, by reducing double parking and congestion, prioritizing transit and active mobility, and making it easy for delivery drivers to load and unload their vehicles quickly and safely.
