• Collect, cleanse, transform, and analyze large operational datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Job Description

CooperVision Inc. seeks a Senior Data Scientist in San Ramon, CA to develop a deep understanding of CooperVision's structured and unstructured data to derive actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions.

• Receipt of Materials and respective paperwork from Stores
• Analysis of Certificates to determine which testing procedures are required.

• Installs, configures, and deploys Red Hat Linux and Oracle Enterprise Linux systems.
• Supports Linux/Unix systems in an Oracle RAC environment.

• Leads specification gathering by eliciting requirements and discovering the underlying business needs and information related to the product and project needs through conversations with key stakeholders, including Sr. Leadership and Global Operations. Organizes and models the requirements to ensure they are complete and unambiguous. Maps the requirements to the deeper business need and gains approval from all relevant stakeholders by meeting essential quality standards. Communicates results to key stakeholders in Sr. Commercial Leadership up to and including the President of the Americas, making informed business decisions by providing in-depth analysis and recommendations for reporting.
