Technology is improving construction productivity. AI video analysis can, for example, now track various site activities. Construction, though, suffers from an enduring failure to effectively utilize voice in-field.

First, in-field work interfaces are terrible. Field workers use cumbersome manual interfaces like touch screens to navigate communications and work routines. Second, in-field voice communications contain valuable information but are lost to AI analytics.

CONVAI corrects this. First, CONVAI provides a voice-centric interface with an AI Voice Assistant. This enables users to navigate communications and digital work routines with minimal use of hands. Second, CONVAI applies AI to onsite voice communications. This AI provides, e.g., communications summaries and possible action items to share. It also creates automated inputs into Daily Logs with information on materials, activities, progress, etc.

Further, inherent in CONVAI’s product design is unique nexus of data for potent AI training. For example, it cross-references voice comms with users’ written comms and structured database info.

Why now? A confluence of threshold-crossing advancements makes CONVAI’s solution newly possible. These include unprecedented acceleration in NLP; momentum in RPA; large low-band 5G deployments; and growing traction for PTT over cellular.

CONVAI has to-date developed a FirstNet Certified mission critical PTT platform with select AI elements. We are currently raising $3M in seed funding.
