CAR works in partnership with governments, international and regional organisations, and NGOs to conduct in-field investigations and weapon tracing. By documenting weapons in situ, CAR provides policymakers with the dynamic, quantifiable information required to understand weapon transfers in detail and, thereby, develop effective, evidence-based arms control policy.
