The first realized application is a digital PCR platform including a cost effective proprietary plastic disposable and a low cost processing instrument. The platform will offer comparable workflow and running cost as the current gold standard (quantitative PCR, qPCR) and provide higher throughput, sensitivity, and precision. Immediate applications include next generation sequencing library quantification & QC, rare cancer mutation detection, viral load and latent reservoir monitoring, pathogen detection, and many more.

Pipeline projects include bio-mimetic processing consumables, pharma toxicity screening tools, and a digital high resolution melt analysis platform for early sepsis diagnosis.
