Coffective (Community + Effective) is a strategic partner that offers evidence-based training, tools and strategies to empower individuals, support organizations, and strengthen communities so they are more effective in their efforts across the breastfeeding continuum. Coffective has a collaborative, community-based approach, and engages with multiple stakeholders including WIC agencies, hospitals, prenatal clinics and community organizations to achieve shared goals. Coffective structures its work around three key goals: 1.Prepare mothers prenatally, through consistent messaging, to receive evidence-based care in hospitals. 2.Implement evidence-based practices in hospitals and integrate consistent messaging throughout the hospital experience. 3.Increase awareness and utilization of community breastfeeding support services, to impact mothers early in pregnancy and after hospital discharge. These goals reflect our larger vision of improving care coordination so that breastfeeding stakeholders are able to surround mothers with the support they need to reach their breastfeeding goals.
