Having worked for years with databases and with data clustering environments, we all knew each other. Since then Galera Cluster for MySQL has become the leading high availability solution for MySQL. in 2014 Galera Cluster received MySQL Community Award. The Award Committee stated: ” Galera provides MySQL with synchronous replication, offering a long time sought for High Availability solution for MySQL. It is fast becoming one of the main product/technology everyone is building next-gen businesses around. It is an important part of the renaissance of what's next for the "ecosystem".” Today Codership's award-winning Galera Cluster has over 1 million downloads. Galera Cluster is included in Debian Linux and it has become most used high availability solution for the OpenStack cloud platform. 39% of OpenStack users (China Mobile, for example) run Galera Cluster in production according to the recent survey. Galera Cluster has thousands of users and it powers MariaDB TX and Percona XtraDB Cluster. At Codership we solve hard problems like synchronous replication, distributed computing, conflict resolution, clustering, high availability and scalability.
