We are developing a new type of internet service. No, it'is not another Facebook, or Twitter or Pinterest. This type of service does not exist yet. I am looking for a partner/co-founder who would develop business and concentrate on management aspects, and be able to raise money from investors. This technology has far reaching implications for "search," marketing and web analytics, especially in education and research fields. My co-founder MUST have prior experience in taking a company from a startup to an exit. The one indispensible skill that I need in a co-founder is the ability to raise capital. The co-founder must be connected with Angel/VC eco-system and know which investors would be able to understand the full scope of this venture. I can demonstrate the prototype to potential co-founder who is willing to sign a confidentiality/non-compete agreement. I need someone local, in MA, or within reasonable driving distance. Once again, I am looking for someone with deep non-academic experience in financing and management. If you are just looking for a regular paycheck this is NOT for you. You have to have the skill to raise capital. If you can deliver then there is a paycheck. The equity offered is tentative, it could be a lot more depending on what you bring to the table. If you bring connections to paying customers (to avoid Angel/VC) your value will rise dramatically.
