CliqStart is a grassroots activism app where users join forces with politicians and advocacy groups to fix political and social issues. CliqStart makes it easy to build communities and mobilize supporters around the issues you defend, using gamified tasks that keep users engaged. At a time of record high political apathy, we aim to increase civic engagement by focusing on concrete actions that go beyond simple ‘likes’ and ‘shares’.

Politicians & activist orgs create communities on CliqStart where they state their positions on #issues & build coalitions with like-minded communities. Users join the communities by exploring #issues they are passionate about. Community owners then mobilize supporters via chat & personalized push notifications, incentivizing them to complete actions to win points, donate and become vocal advocates inside the app and on external social networks.
