The core of cleantecher is an insatiable curiosity and a desire to create lasting change. Knowledge has a way of connecting across disciplines and guides to a simpler solution. A problem here that emerged in the complexity of electricity was solved with inspiration from muscle synapses and meditation. The sharing of knowledge about these two subjects revealed the simplicity of solving a problem in electricity. We at cleantecher believe that solutions to complex problems can often be overlooked simple patterns that need to be connected. But the only way to discover those patterns is to be open to one may not have the solution right now. We value diversity of thought and approaches in our team and have always believed that innovation lies when new ideas and perspectives are openly shared. Our team currently consists of two co-founders: Shaan Ray- serial entrepreneur who has extensive experience working in emerging economies. Always fascinated with tech, Shaan knew he would be an entrepreneur early on and pursued his passion by founding his first company in 2012. Since then he has founded and exited from multiple companies and is currently a blockchain adviser with Lansaar Research. Aman Chahal is a mechanical engineer. Fascinated by science and star trek, Aman started her career fixing planes. Her path led her through various industries including a stop over in data science until she discovered the eccentricities of electricity while working for an energy storage company. Curiosity took over and she went on to study the sector and its peculiar nature writing a thesis on disruptive technology adoption. She went on to work for a Canadian cleantech funding agency working with multiple startups, until she moved back into the startup world in 2018. Shaan and Aman originally met while doing their MBA's where they both maintain they were admission accidents. They have been swapping ideas for almost a decade until cleantecher was founded in 2019.
