Cicada Innovation creates and validates deep tech ventures through specialised commercialisation and accelerator programs that feed into the incubator where they are nurtured.

Our hyper connected community of 70+ companies and 400+ innovators reside in our state-of-the-art facilities located within the historic precinct in the Australian Technology Park.

The Cicada Innovations team has worked with more than 300 businesses, helping its portfolio companies raise over A$324 million in private equity and government grants, file over 500 patents and trademarks, and for twelve, sell their business. In 2015-16 alone, Cicada Innovations'​ portfolio companies raised over A$79 in private and public funding.

Globally recognised and awarded and founded in 2000, Cicada Innovations Incubator is a private business, owned by four of Australia's leading universities: Australian National University, University of New South Wales, University of Sydney and University of Technology Sydney.
