Chimani careers

Chimani develops mobile travel guides for places Google Maps doesn't cover, such as national parks. Our guides are written by professional travel writers and provide all necessary information on outdoor destinations.

The guides are further curated by our users as part of our location-based game which allows them to "check-in" to earn virtual arrowheads and contribute content when visiting public land destinations. Our mobile apps function offline, include GPS-enabled maps, and are available on iOS, Android, and automotive infotainment systems such as Subaru's STARLINK system.

In response to COVID-19, Chimani is focusing on expanding our content coverage, provide notification alerts regarding park closures and overcrowding issues, and expanding our location-based gamification to decrease overcrowding.
