The TVL on Ethereum has been decreasing steadily giving way to newer chains with their own unique use cases and lower gas fee. The multichain future is imminent, and it is clear that no one chain is going to emerge as the “winner”. For a true multichain world to exist, the chain-level details need to be abstracted away from the user. Users don’t care about what frontend/backend stack an application is built on, and neither should they care about which chain a dapp happens to be built on. Currently, users bear the burden of acquiring native gas tokens and manually bridging liquidity between chains. This is bad UX, and a fundamental roadblock in the adoption of new chains, a roadblock in the greater dream of a multichain world Wallets today are non-modular, non-pluggable, and non-extensible. Much like how browsers enable web2, wallets enable web3. The wallets of today are like Internet Explorer circa ‘95. The current solution can not scale to a multichain world. The goals for Chainless are for dapps to be able to build robust innovative features with ease, and users to access them smoothly, without either party worrying about chain-level and multichain implementation details. Ushering in the multichain future, bringing in mass adoption by making web3 mainstream and seamless, is the ultimate vision for Chainless. At Chainless, our top priority is innovation. We promote a work culture where everybody has ownership of their work and can bring their own innovations to chainless. We are a team of fully remote working professionals, and we believe that remote work is the future. We support flexible timing, regular cooldowns, and open communications. Since Chainless is an early-stage startup, we are still developing our work culture, but we aim to make it open, inclusive and comforting for all so that while building and growing chainless, our team has one less thing to worry about.
