Certo is at the stage where every hire moves the needle. We are currently focused on hiring a Founding Engineer (TypeScript, AI, B2B SaaS) and will grow the engineering team around this role. As a founding engineer, you will work directly with the founders to design and build the core of our product: multi-tenant SaaS, workflows, data models, and AI agents that turn regulations and supplier documents into reliable decisions. You will ship end-to-end features (from backend APIs and jobs to UI), own systems over time, and talk to real users in regulatory, QA and R&D teams at leading consumer brands. The kind of problems you will work on include: modeling organisations, products and documents; building pipelines that ingest and analyse complex PDFs; orchestrating LLM/agent workflows; making results auditable and explainable; and evolving the platform from pilot to mission-critical infrastructure. We are looking for people who have early-stage B2B experience (ex-founder, first engineer or small startup team), strong TypeScript skills (backend plus some frontend), and a track record of building systems rather than just features. Experience with Python, LLMs/agents, or regulated domains (compliance, fintech, legal, health, security, risk) is a strong plus.
