CellFE has developed a unique device and process to solve one of the most pressing issues of therapeutic cell engineering – how to efficiently deliver gene-editing molecules into cells, while preserving cell viability. The device causes unique cell behavior: cells act like a sponge, exchange fluid with their environment and actively uptake materials from the surroundings. As a result, we can efficiently deliver wide range of cell-engineering materials, independent of their size or composition. And we keep cells alive and healthy while doing that.
