Cascade Health is on a mission to bring price transparency and enable informed decision making in healthcare. Traditionally US health prices have been kept a secret. The data was recently released when the Transparency in Coverage Final Rule went into effect on July 1st 2022. The data is released under massive machine-readable files that are up to 1TB in size and are not accessible by humans.

Our Cloud & AI platform aggregates this data and extracts insights from it at scale. We have full health pricing information across the United States on all major carriers, as well as many local plans. The Cascade health price intelligence engine compares prices across carriers and providers with the click of a button.

We’re founded by two former Microsoft engineers, and proudly spun out of the MIT Sandbox Innovation program. We’re venture-backed by AlleyCorp, a healthcare dedicated fund in NYC. We’re humble, matter of fact, and hope to have some fun while working together and changing US healthcare for good! We think being outsiders in healthcare is an asset, and we plan to move fast and fix things. Everyone joining at this stage will wear multiple hats and work across the product surface.
