Casabots careers

Three trends make robots inevitable for food businesses. It is difficult to hire and retain labor in big cities, minimum wage is increasing from $9 to $15 and people desire several features robots provide such as better food safety, accurate calorie information, portion control and night time availability. Casabots has invented robotics technology that addresses this $50B market. Our first product is Sally, a salad-making robot. Our second product helps make Mexican and Asian food.

Casabots was part of the Techstars accelerator in 2016. Our investors include Techstars Ventures, the Central Texas Angel Network, Galvanize Ventures, v1.vc, Geekdom Fund and an owner of 15 McDonald's restaurants. Casabots was founded by Dr. Deepak Sekar, an inventor with more than one hundred patents, who has managed engineering and marketing teams at Rambus and MonolithIC 3D Inc. He serves as the CEO. Rich Page, an Apple Fellow who joined Steve Jobs as a Co-Founder and VP at NeXT, is Executive Chairman.
