CARFIT is a self-diagnostic & preventive maintenance platform in the connected car space that (a) provides the dealers/service companies who install it with customized lead generation (b) provides car owners with independent, customized predictive maintenance info on their car. CARFIT collects car data via a proprietary Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) sensor, about the size of a poker chip, placed on the car's steering wheel. The NVH technology captures data on wear and tear on key wearing parts and uploads it to the cloud-based infrastructure, where machine learning and data scientists link NVH data to known car events. Car owners can download a free CARFIT iPhone or Android app, downloadable from Google Play or the App store, for custom maintenance triggers. By progressively enriching an NVH library that feeds a dedicated knowledge base, CARFIT is building the most comprehensive auto NVH knowledge base in existence, with the potential to discover industry-disrupting insights.
