Cameroun Liberty careers
Cameroun Liberty is an independent media outlet founded in 2011 in Douala, Cameroon, by journalist Albin Michel Njilo Tappa. Born in the city's student district, it has grown into a widely followed voice for readers in Cameroon, across the African diaspora and beyond, with its reporting picked up by major French-language media.
We cover politics, business, finance, sports, culture and innovation, with a focus on the stories that shape Cameroon and African communities around the world. Our journalists, analysts and contributors work to inform, explain and open a space for free and constructive public debate.
Since joining Mason Ewing Corporation in 2022, Cameroun Liberty has kept its African identity and editorial independence while gaining international reach. Today it is part of Ewing Family Investment (EFI), the group's investment platform dedicated to high-impact economic, cultural and media projects in Africa.
Alongside Albin Michel Njilo Tappa, Franck Kosakevitch and a network of international collaborators are leading the next stage of growth: digital development, audiovisual projects, a print edition and new media platforms.
Our ambition is to become one of the great pan-African voices, connecting Africa with its diaspora in Europe and the United States.
Africa speaks. Freedom rises.
