Cache DNA careers
Cache DNA provides a unique solution for century-scale storage and access to nucleic acid samples ranging from ecological species to viral and bacterial pathogens to molecular DNA data. Founded by Prof. Mark Bathe from MIT, our mission is to provide a low-cost platform to store nucleic acids that are mission-critical to a number of areas including viral detection, ecological conservation, forensic analysis, and massive DNA-based file systems for archival data storage. Our approach is superior to existing platforms because it enables storage at the single-molecule scale, with unique cataloging for large-scale storage and retrieval. Nucleic acids are the new information medium of the 21st Century, and our mission is to be the pre-eminent nucleic acid storage and retrieval platform to catalog all of life on planet Earth to protect our biodiversity, to collect and store viral samples from the entire human population, and to store all of the world’s information so that we never need to delete anything ever again. Scientific Advisory Board members of Cache DNA are Professors George Church Jeremiah Johnson, Paul Blainey, and Mark Bathe.
