We recognized wine/liquor retailers are facing immense competition from big chain stores and deeply struggling to gain an online presence. Independent liquor stores do not have a solution to get their products available online, nor a big marketing budget to reach new customers easily.

We wondered how we could help the retailers get on mobile and online in the quickest possible manner. Stores also don’t have the time to manage websites and apps, so we wanted to make an app that provided a cohesive, Amazon-like wine/liquor buying experience. And thus we created Buttery.

Buttery, based in Boston, provides marketing and e-commerce solution for independent liquor stores across the United States. Liquor stores use our platform to power online orders, mobile access, and billing and payment. For consumers, Buttery is the easiest way to order beer, wine and spirits online and get ​on-demand ​delivery or reserve for pickup.
