A full-remote boutique accounting firm is looking for a motivated Finance and Operations Associate to join its team. This is a very hands-on role and this individual will play an integral part in all aspects of accounting operations and a wide variety of projects. The firm’s current portfolio of clients include several up-and-coming start-ups with a focus on e-commerce and venture-backed CPG. Working with our founder, you will ensure that all of our clients have timely and accurate financial data by overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping and by owning the monthly-, quarterly-, and year-end closing, reporting, and auditing processes. This firm plays a crucial role for its clients by providing data-driven financial insights to inform decision-making across their departments and provide financial information to investors for fundraising purposes. As the first full-time hire within our team, you will play a key role in developing and improving our finance and accounting procedures for all clients and internally, and you will gain a deep understanding of all aspects of each business. Working closely with our early-stage and rapid-growing start-up clients, you will directly support the founders of uprising cool consumer brands, building their accounting/finance infrastructure and play an integral role in their growth. There is ample opportunity for rapid and significant growth in this role, working closely with the founder to take on additional responsibilities within the firm and for our clients.
