Branch careers

The product is a social mobile app that allows people to chat in specific spaces ("Spots"), for instance the undergraduate library, a coffee shop, or the 301 E. Liberty building.

Branch's end-user is anyone who likes talking to and meeting new people. Additionally, it serves a practical purpose to those that like to and need help - whether for homework, pitch practice, or finding out the best low-key deals at a pub they're at. Our initial target market is college students (with an emphasis on Freshman new to campuses).

The app is easy to use. Simply share what’s on your mind or what you're looking to do, by posting to the "Spot" you're at. Anyone nearby can then publicly discuss the post or start an anonymous private one-on-one chat. As a chat develops, you can opt to reveal your profiles, as simply as a Facebook friend request, thereby revealing your identities to one another.
