Our wearable device is a wireless electroencephalography (EEG) headband that detects the electrical activity of a user's brain. Our machine learning algorithms then help us predict what cognitive state that person is in based on a variety of signals.

For the education space we are currently piloting our FocusEDU system which includes our headband and software platform. The system gives real time feedback to teachers about what content and strategies are most engaging, allowing them to continuously improve their methods and personalize their approach for their students. FocusEDU also gives students individualized reports about their engagement during class and the ability to practice brain-based training to improve their focus and relaxation abilities.

Next for BrainCo is exploring how this type of feedback and training can benefit the fitness and wellness space when it comes to sports recovery, focus and stress management.
