Bosun builds open-source tools for AI agents and software for clients.

We work from a simple idea: people should own the decisions. Agents need clear instructions, useful tools and a way to check their work.

Our open-source tools cover the parts of that workflow:
• Ohtools: typed tools with inspectable contracts, available through CLI and MCP.
• Logbook: durable task state and context across agent handoffs.
• Plot: layered specifications and approvals tied to exact targets.
• Chest: evidence-based checks for task completion.
• Sounder: explainable task estimates.

Alongside the tools, we take on product engineering work. For one client, our founder delivered the first two mobile apps as sole engineer. Each reached internal beta after a two-week MVP sprint.
