BooksOnMap (BOM) is a crowd-sourcing social Application, layering literature, text quotations and other user-generated content, with location on maps. It creates a new experience for touring, reading, publishing, informational and cultural activities, and enabling a new platform for ecommerce and advertizing.

BooksOnMap allows users to 'map' the literature, for number of social and business purposes, based on the centrality of location-based-services. Users will enrich and then use maps, dotted with enormous amount of short quotations (and pictures, video, music, links, discussions, trivia, etc.) related to specific locations, mentioned in books from every possible genre. Users will be able to walk through a route following a book or an author, or while sitting in their couch at home.
