Bobidi helps companies validate AI models in the real world very quickly and improve them 10x more efficiently. AI companies are having a hard time finding the unknown-unknowns (aka the edge cases models miss). This makes creating AI models that perform well in the real world challenging. If you've ever asked yourself why you still don't see many self-driving cars on the street, or why many facial recognition AI models from the US fail to detect people in the non-western countries, the answer is: edge cases. Our underlying magic to tackle the problem is that we run a global gamified community that is incentivized to test and find the edge cases that the model missed. The whole process is 10x more efficient than the industry norm, which is a couple of months. People receive rewards that can be redeemed as cash, while having fun. What's cool about this is that, in many global communities, rewards like this could make huge impact on people's lives. The idea is a mashup between community and AI. Our team has worked in the largest social network (Facebook), marketplaces (eBay), technology (Google), and AR gaming (Niantic: Pokemon Go) companies. We both have previously created and exited businesses so we know what we're doing. We started this company because we want to help AI companies in a way that has a huge impact on people's lives.
