BlocPower is a minority-owner, Brooklyn based energy startup that is rapidly greening American cities. BlocPower has used its building analysis, financing, and project management software to complete energy-saving upgrades in nearly 1,000 buildings since 2014. Those buildings are now saving between 20-70% on energy each year. The company is backed by the world’s top investors, including Mitch Kapor, one of Uber’s first investors, Andressen Horowitz, early investor in Facebook, Twitter, AirBnB and Lyft, and the former Chairman of Google.
