In the same way that spam filters keep our email inboxes clear of junk, people should have clean, safe, positive experiences on social platforms.

We propose to do this by building tools for people to take control of their experience, both with manual controls and ML-based models to filter and manage negative content.

Creating a silo also allows users or third-party organizations to easily access potentially harmful or harassing messages without having to gather them, which automates a painstakingly time-consuming and sometimes emotionally-draining task.
