Working with California farmers exclusively, Blinking Owl produces organic grain-based Vodka, Orange County Orange Vodka, Gin, several types of Whiskey, and the Scandinavian spirit, Aquavit. The secret sauce is in the small amount of malted barley added to every mash, adding a hint a caramel and silky finish that converts even Vodka haters to Vodka lovers, Gin haters to Gin lovers, and “I-don’t- do-hard-alcohol” to Blinking Owl Spirit animals.

Just as California wine county has captured international recognition for its terroir, Blinking Owl spirits express the rich farmland of this state with living, lovely aromas and flavors. Currently, Blinking Owl spirits are made from 100% organic California grain that we mill, mash, ferment, distill and bottle in house. Our quirky, fun "Wes Anderson meets a swanky bar" approach to branding has visually distinguished our custom bottle designs on the shelves, while the extreme quality of the contents creates brand loyalists.
