We are a U.S. focused trading platform that allows anyone, even the unbanked, to buy bitcoin instantly for cash.
Even the most popular Bitcoin brokerage in the United States today requires users to wait 5 business days for a bank transfer to clear before releasing payment. We think that's crazy!
Our platform operates by connecting buyers and sellers via cash deposit at a local bank or credit union. In this manner, BitQuick never touches USD, and buyers and sellers never communicate directly. This gives us an edge from both a business perspective (don't handle USD), and a customer perspective (can buy bitcoin at any local bank or credit union).
BitQuick was an alumnus of Boost VC's Tribe 5 and was acquired by Athena Bitcoin in June, 2016.
