Our project consists of a data gathering, analysis and monitoring platform for security and alerting. Using a distributed portscanning system our platform will analyse any range of ips and detect services running on these ip addresses. At the same time our platform is connected to security vulnerability feeds and it automatically correlates the scans with this data to warn users of our product of possible vulnerabilities in their systems, and changes to their perimeter (such as new services or ports open) all of this is done in realtime. Our platform also comes with a set of tools that allows a client to view the history of their systems which can help with understanding exposure and risk of different systems and in case of a compromise to provide forensic data to help with understanding how an attack worked. Our customers would be any companies with internet connected systems that care about security or companies that want rating information.
