Bento Box is a fully-integrated property and product development company that specializes in small footprint living. Bento Box defines small footprint living as any form of living that reduces mankind’s dependence and possession of stuff, including the waste, space and consumption of it. Bento Box is comprised of four subsidiary entities, each serving a core function of Bento Box’s fully-integrated business model: • Bento Build—designer and product developer of Bento Box small footprint living places and spaces. Bento Build offers design management for the rest of the Bento family of entities while also developing its own line of products and offering design services to support small footprint living. • Live Bento—developer and asset manager of “Bento” branded properties. Live Bento develops and asset manages properties specifically geared for small footprint living. These properties showcase small footprint living design, lifestyle and amenity, including Bento Build’s interior structural systems. Presently, Live Bento has two major small footprint lifestyle properties under development. • Bento Hawaii—Bento Hawaii is a joint venture formed in the state of Hawaii to sell and install Bento Build designed and branded auxiliary dwelling units (ADU’s), which will include Bento Build interior structural systems. Bento Hawaii intends to be a major supplier of these dwelling units in partnership with others in the State of Hawaii. • Bento Ventures—venture capital and project finance arm of Bento Box, raising debt and private equity capital for Bento Box ventures and properties. • Bento Marketplace—an e-commerce marketplace selling all things small footprint. If it helps reduce mankind’s dependence and possession of “stuff”, including our “stuff”, Bento Marketplace wants to help promote and sell it. Bento Marketplace is the primary retailer of products designed for the Bento Interior System as well as a third party small footprint products.
