Bandwagon has created an open ridesharing platform, aggregating larger supply and customer networks, reducing costs and wait times, and connecting fixed infrastructure and responsive transportation modes.

By 2018, the company plans to have mapped and matched 2BN rides, without employing or managing a single driver. This is their 3 phase plan:

PHASE 1: Expand Bandwagon’s existing taxi, FHV, and van sharing platform to 7 major US Markets by Q4 2017.

PHASE 2: Expand platform from transportation hubs to citywide in all markets by Q2 2018 with international transportation partners Transdev, Creative Mobile Technologies, and Verifone.

PHASE 3: Further open ridebatching technology to act as exchange market for shared autonomy, commuter, and parcel sharing by Q4 2018 in partnership with major OEMs, and existing international transportation partners.
