Bambooties careers

Hi, I'm Lucy. In 2017 I became a mum to little Layla.

I immediately became obsessed with her tiny toes and wanted to keep them warm. I tried multiple different styles of baby shoes, but couldn't get any of them to stay on. Her feet were too wriggly!

On asking other mothers, I realised this was a widespread problem. So I decided to create a solution. The idea for Bambooties was born - a pair of booties that stay on baby feet.

Each pair is ethically made by a small and talented team in Delhi, India. Each time you buy a pair, I do a little happy dance because I know we're helping them to continue doing a job they enjoy, which in turn helps them to support their families.

We also give 50% of our profits to a charity called ActionAid. ActionAid provide vulnerable women and girls with the most important necessities in life. Each time you buy a pair of Bambooties, you can provide a care package to a mother and her baby who have had to leave home with nothing.
