Axiom offers a new type of scaling for blockchain applications through off-chain compute and data access. We enable smart contracts to access historic data on Ethereum at scale and do compute on that data in a totally trustless way. With Axiom, smart contracts are no longer constrained by the limited execution capacity of the EVM or L2s since arbitrarily large computations off chain are verified by ZK on-chain. Any on-chain data used by the smart contract is verified in ZK and available with no additional trust assumptions. Ultimately, Axiom will unlock new types of data-rich, trustless applications.
