Awen is on a mission to enable enterprises become more productive, and efficient with AI that benefits all of humanity.

Today, 75% of the enterprises spend more than 160 engineering hours each on AI applications built on top of unstructured data. This is for enterprises who have AI teams in house, which is only 1% of all companies in the world.

With only 300,000 ML engineers out of a total base of 27 Mn software engineers, it is clear that the world is seeing a clear supply crunch of AI talent. Even more so when majority of these hours are spent in cleaning, transforming and building niche extraction models for unstructured data.

We are building Awen to change this. Awen is building the foundational technology that enables all engineers to build AI applications irrespective of the underlying data modality and their past experience in AI.

Founders have experience in global organizations including Amazon, Zomato, INDMoney, BCG, Invideo, Harvard Business School, IIT Kharagpur and Indian School of Business. We are funded by leading global investors including Nfx, Flybridge Capital Partners and angels.
