Support the mechanical (and basic electrical) assembly process by interpreting approved design models/drawings and communicating the solutions to the shop floor.
Improve the overall efficiency of the plant assembly process, including fabrication and paint.
Create and design for manufacturability sheet metal, welding, and complex assemblies using SolidWorks.
Work with other engineering disciplines (i.e. process, applications, and electrical) to create designs that integrate power, electromechanical, and mechanical systems and that factor in environmental conditions for end users.
