In 2007 Avertra began as a services company focused on utility industry enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Esri, Qlik and Maximo. Throughout our services work, we discovered a whitespace in the utility industry where there was a lack of easy to use, modernized industry-specific solutions that integrate and add innovation layers to existing ERP and CIS systems. In 2012 we started investing in developing our MiUtility™ platform with the focus on optimizing, streamlining and automating the new construction to cash lifecycle. MiUtility™ is an easy to deploy utility specific platform with end-to-end capabilities that optimizes operations, facilitates business driven customer service, offers enhanced communication and customer engagement, and simplifies billing and payment. With the continued growth and adoption of MiUtility™ , we have now developed a Research and Development lab where we are continuing to evaluate emerging technologies for utilities.
