Global spending on TV and online video advertising reached $237bn in 2017. These advertising dollars finance the creation of most of the shows we love, enticing advertisers to spend more than $14bn a year testing ads. But if you’re like us, the majority of the ads that you see are intrusive, annoying, or never moved the needle with you- meaning they were a waste of your time and a lot of marketing dollars.
