We are building software for analog integrated circuit designers to get instantaneous circuit layouts. Layout is the process of placing components and routing wires using CAD tools. It is still done manually by layout engineers and can take days to weeks. Layout is also a critical bottleneck in the circuit design process. The layout engineer has to finish their work before the circuit designer can continue their work. Given that this is an iterative process between the circuit designer and the layout engineer, some circuits can take months to complete.
