Think of Aspas as an ethereal layer that informs people around that you are interested in engaging, while also pointing out what they may interact with you about. All this, while showing you fellow users that have interesting cues that they would like to connect on. You are shown users that are active on Aspas within 100 feet radius of your location. 100 feet is the distance at which you can easily identify a person through the picture on their Aspas profile, and approach them in person. 100 feet is also a distance that is short enough to walk if you do choose to connect via the app first and arrange a suitable location to meet. Aspas does not show you users outside of 100 feet as the increased radius leads to the inability to identify people, creates friction to achieve the goal of making face-to-face connections, and strays from the mission to connect people that are visibly around one another. Aspas is not a dating app. The only similarity with a dating app is that you can meet someone whom you did not know earlier. On Aspas, there are a plethora of use cases. Dating apps focus on one use case and that’s dating. Now don’t get us wrong, a connection through Aspas could turn out to be a romantic interest.
